Wat Mai Suwankhiri is one popular buddhist temple in Kelantan as it has 1 statue of standing buddha on the roof of its main building. It was believed that this temple was built in the 16th century.

Inside the main building of Wat Mai Suwankhiri, there is 1 sitting buddha statue. On the right side of this buddha statue is a model of Than Di. There is one small building next to this building. Inside this small building, there is a 'corpse' of a monk.

The main attraction in this temple is the Ketik Perahu Naga or the Dragon Boat Temple. Actually, this temple building is on a boat which has a head of a bird with long beak and this boat is guarded by 2 dragons, each on one side. There are a few buddha statues inside this temple.

To get here by bus, go to the Kota Bahru bus terminal and take bus #43. This bus will pass through Kampung Dalam, Tumpat, Kelantan where Wat Mai Suwankhiri can be found.
